Planting Words

The power of speaking the truth. We say it's a great trait to have, yet there is a difference between saying what is on your mind and being impeccable with your words. Because we are sometimes not our thoughts. Thoughts come up like hick-ups and as much as they are true, they are only a small section in time. By sharing our mind we are inflating a brief moment in time and plant a seed. We don't know how someone else perceives our thoughts and what grows out of the seed. Did you ever hear someone say to you: “ Do you remember when you said XYZ…”, and you could not recall what they were talking about? Well, is speaking your thoughts then really what you should do? Of course we should speak our true selves. It makes us who we are! Yet being impeccable with your words is hugely important.

Your words shape your reality.

There's three different stages of being/reality everyone should have: thoughts, words and actions.
They are all separate from each other, so we almost have a different personality in each of them.
You are your thoughts, as much as you are not. You are your words, as much as you are not. Your actions show who you are. They show, if you are what you think and say you are. Thinking by itself is tricky, because: I'm not what I think I am, I'm not what you think I am, I am what I think, that you think I am.
There is no such thing as a bad thought, no such thing as a wrong thought. Just having a thought doesn't change anything.
As soon as we put thoughts into words our reality starts to form and there will be consequences.
As soon as we plant the seed of word, our reality starts to shift, and our actions nourish the ground we planted the seed in. That makes it important that we are impeccable with what we say, so we're able to nourish the seed we planted. Action and inaction both have consequences. It is up to us to decide what plants we are going to grow. No matter what you put in the ground, there will be storms and droughts, problems you have to deal with. It is up to us to pick what problems we want to put up with. The power of speaking the truth comes in when we are able to acknowledge that we've been wrong. There is no honesty or truth in words until they are followed up by actions.
