Zenthai Shiatsu 1:1 Session

  • At its most surface level Zenthai Shiatsu is a therapeutic bodywork. Founded by Gwyn Williams almost 30 years ago this bodywork is the weaving of traditional Thai massage, Zen Shiatsu and Osteopathic techniques which works on your physical, structural and energetic bodies.

    In Zenthai Shiatsu we are not ‘fixing’ anything but rather waking up the body’s capacity for Healing.

    Bringing it back to its Latin roots ‘healing’ translates to Oneness. Any kind of ‘healing’ practice will facilitate a remembering of our inherent Oneness. It also implies the direction of where true healing resides - within the one needing to be healed - it already exists within each of us.

    In a Zenthai Shiatsu treatment we are channeling and directing the flow of energy within to ‘bring freedom back to the structural and energetic bodies’ and come home to our original nature - our Wholeness.

    Beneath the surface Zenthai Shiatsu is a sacred art and fluid dance with focused intention and deep listening at its core.

    Much like Yoga is far more than the physical postures, Zenthai Shiatsu is far greater than a bodywork practice. It too is a way of being. text goes here

  • They call it ‘lazy man’s Yoga’; you simply lie down, let go and receive.

    Sessions happen on a mat on the floor. Upfront we’ll talk about what's happening for you physically, emotionally and energetically. This will inform the treatment.

    You can experience this beautiful practice in the privacy of your own home, at my apartment, or at an agreed upon studio location.
