Unblocking the Heart

“My heart feels blocked.” A feeling you might have also experienced sometime before. It might feel at times like someone placed a boulder on our chests, a boulder that hinders us to let our hearts expand and work freely.
How did the heart get into this state in the first place?
Our hearts are the gates that regulate the energy flow. You are around a loved one and your heart feels full and beats higher only till this person says something unpleasant and the heart starts to shut down. We have all experienced this quick change one way or another. Our heart is the gate that our entire experience has to step through at some point and we have to learn to let everything step through. Yet, often we are in one of the following two motions. We are either in the act of blocking or pushing energy away because we don't like it. Or we are in the act of holding on to good energy not wanting to let it go. In neither of these two actions, we are opening the heart and letting energy flow freely. When we stop holding onto good or bad experiences we can let everything pass through the gate of the heart and the heart will start to generate vibrations and melodies that will go far beyond the ones of an instrument. You can feel your heart singing like an instrument and when you say I feel an instrument, you can only say so because it touched your heart.

To open up a blocked heart it sometimes only takes an instrument, music, or a dance. My boulder was lifted after a night out dancing freely and wildly…
