Experience > Intellect

First time writing about what can’t be put in words…

Don't we all want to end all the suffering that we experience? To end all the suffering while not living in ignorance, through your own actions. I have always loved wisdom in any form. In form of quotes, videos, talks from teachers and mentors, etc. In wisdom, I could find great hold in it and inspiration to make meaning of the world around me. It was an intellectual game that brought me satisfaction but only to a certain degree. You can saturate your intellect only so much. It comes to a point where you look to experience wisdom. I started looking for practical tools, tools to experience life in its purest form. My attempts are countless. A few tries are kung fu, traveling, tai chi, yoga, or meditation. They're all great tools I tried and discovered to experience wisdom not just on an intellectual level. With learning about and coming in contact with the Vipassana meditation, I experienced a tool that teaches you the art of living. You experience wisdom within the frame of the body. It is difficult to comprehend for yourself, so words are incapable of describing this mystical phenomenon. You find out who you really are. Not who you want to be, wish to be, or imagined to be. You see yourself and things as they are and you experience a sense of infinity, harmony, and peace.

I wish you, infinite love. May you all be happy, free, and liberated.
